Quick fixes
No sound?
Tap Test sound in Settings. Raise your device’s media volume and check whether sound is going to headphones or a Bluetooth speaker. Piano playback automatically mutes while Listen mode is on.
Microphone won’t start?
Open ClefTrax directly in Safari or Chrome and allow microphone access when asked. If you previously blocked it, allow the microphone in your browser’s settings for this site, then try Listen mode again.
The right note isn’t recognized?
Check the selected instrument and clef. Play one clear, steady note near the microphone, then pause before playing the next one. Move away from other players or background music.
Access code won’t work?
Check the code with your teacher or the person who gave it to you. Codes can expire or reach a device limit. The owner can reset device slots; the owner can resend a saved code. Older codes without a saved copy may need replacing.
Where are my saved sets?
Saved note sets and preferences stay in the browser where you saved them. Use Share note set to open the notes on another device, then Save set there. Clearing browser data can remove local sets.
Need more help?
When reporting a problem, include your device, browser, instrument, what happened, and the version number at the bottom of the app. A screenshot helps.
